Not Much To Report

Thank you all so much for your prayers over the past few hours.  We did get some sleep last night, which was a huge blessing.  Greg’s fever had been continuing on a downhill trend, getting as low as 98.8.  But this last check about an hour ago showed that it was going back up at 99.7.  He is feeling better today, but still not great.  We have seen the doctor, but they are still not sure of the explanation for the fever.  It takes 48 hours for the blood cultures to grow, so that won’t be until tomorrow night.  They are also not so sure why his LDH has spiked so high over the past two weeks.  Could be a sign of tumor growth, but they are not certain that is it.

Greg’s appetite has been a tiny bit better, but he’s still eating very little.  Still really fatigued and achy.  Made a couple of work-related phone calls, but other than that has mostly just dozed on and off.

The oncologist said that he is going to speak with the surgeon and make a decision on whether or not the surgery should still be done tomorrow or postponed.  We will keep you posted.

Thanks again for praying for our family!

Trusting His Plan,

Sandra

Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me!  For my soul trusts in You; and in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by.  Psalm 57:1
