Sunday was a day that our family will not soon forget! Many of our friends and family came out and stood in the heat to pray for our family and Greg’s healing. They circled our home in prayer and cried out to God on our behalf. How humbling that people would take time out of their Sunday afternoon to do that for us! And many that couldn’t be with us in person, told us that they would stop what they were doing at 4pm to join us in prayer from wherever they were. In a word, it was overwhelming! We are SO blessed!!! We believe that we serve a God who hears His people, and no doubt…His people were heard on Sunday!! We could never adequately express our gratefulness for all of your prayers, not just on Sunday, but throughout this journey. Your prayers and God’s kindness and faithfulness is what sustains us.

I am so very grateful to my friend who organized the prayer circle and to my sister-in-law who took some pictures, so that we could preserve the sweet memories from the day.

We are now at MD Anderson and Greg is back having an MRI on his brain. After this is complete, he will have bloodwork and an echocardiogram done. There won’t be complete body scans this time; they mainly want to reevaluate the suspected tumor that was found last time on Greg’s brain. We will have the rest of the afternoon and evening free. Then tomorrow morning we will meet with the doctor to review the test results and then Greg will be admitted for round 4 of biochemo.

These are our current prayer requests:
1. That our family would handle our current circumstances in a way that pleases the Lord and points others to Him.
2. That the MRI would be clear and show NO evidence/suspicion of tumors.
3. That Greg’s body would be completely healed of all cancer.
4. That the doctor would have wisdom regarding the next step in treatment.
5. That the kids would stay safe and healthy while we are away.

Thank you all for your faithfulness to pray for our family! We love you guys!

I love the LORD because He hears and answers my prayers. Because He bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I have breath! Psalm 116:1-2

Trusting His Plan,
Greg, Sandra, Katie, Emilie and Jacob

Thank you for sharing the pictures from Sunday. They brought tears to my eyes! I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to attend but prayed as I drove to Birmingham to visit my great-aunt for her 105th birthday!

We serve a great God and you represent Him well! Love, Bethany

Love the pics Sandra, that had to be an awesome event for you all. I pray everyday for Greg that he will soon be healed, and for you and your family that you guys can continue to endure the pain of watching a loved one have to go through the treatment. This was probably the worst thing I’ve had to go through in my life, but then again, I look around and see there is someone who has it way worse than Lisa and I.
I missed you guys so much last week, it was like part of the family not being there.
We love you guys and will continue to pray for you all!!!!
